Bosch Platinum+2 has more platinum in the center electrode than Bosch Platinum Plus. The fine wire platinum center electrode (which is heat fused into the extended ceramic insulator) reduces the voltage necessary to jump the gap as well as reduces quenching. Bosch Platinum +2 also uses surface air gap firing technology and dual yttrium enhanced ground electrodes for longer life. All Bosch platinum series spark plugs are designed to reach self cleaning temperature faster for quicker starts, smoother acceleration and increased fuel efficiency. |
